Low-tech is listet in the dictionary as »using or requiring only low technology; going without high technology«. This definition tells us simply what low-tech is not: hightech. In this work lowtech will be explored regarding the questions of how and why we use the simple technology in our everyday lives and if the strict borderline to hightech can be justified as a chracterizing feature.
